Kelly Armstrong is to be married to Eric Kern. Kelly is the daughter of Dale and Gail Armstrong of Magdalena, NM. Eric is the Son of Bill Kern of Silver City, NM and Patricia and Joe Chapman of Safford, AZ.

The bride to be is currently a student enrolled at New Mexico State University. She will graduate in December 0f 2009 with a degree in Elementary Education. She wants to be a middle school science teacher.

The groom to be graduated from Western New Mexico University with a degree in Forestry/Wildlife. He is a successful guide and outfitter and also works part time for the United States Forest Service.

Eric and Kelly met in August of 2007 and came to know each other through interests, friendship, and family. It was meant to be from the start and love came naturally. They are now inseparable and plan to spend their lives together and someday start a family.

Eric proposed to Kelly on February, 21st 2009. Previously getting her fathers permission, and approval, Kelly happily accepted.

Both of their families are extremely happy for the two of them, and wish them nothing but love and happiness as they start the next chapter of their lives together.

Friends and family will be gathering to help them celebrate their love in July of 2009.
